Backing-up PS2 games

Can anyone help me? I need to know how to copy PS2 games. I mean going to a video shop, renting a PS2 game and copying it at home. I need to know what I'll need (DVD writer etc.) and basically the whole process on how to do it! If any of you can help, E Mail me,

U do know that backups are illigal unless U own the origional don't you?
