Plextor's DiscDupe a cure for Safedisc 2.0?

A reprint of Maximum PC Sept 2000
We chose the Plextor because it's the fastest SCSI CD-ROM drive on the market, and because it offers rock-solid stability. And because we're pairing it with Plextor CD-RWs, we get the added benefit of bit-by-bit accurate disc duplication. That's right––Plextor's DiscDupe program allows you to make perfect replicas of any disc when using Plextor CD-ROM and CD-RW drives in tandem. This means you can make backups of everything from copy-protected games to Playstation discs, all without the fear of burning a tosser.
