Diablo 2 uses securom protection. To make an exact copy, you need a cd reader that will read the SUBCODE data. But the trick is you need a cd-writer that will NOT repair the subcode data when you record it. I use clone cd, and 2 diffrent cd-rw drives to backup these types of games. I use a TEAC burner for my reader, because it can copy subcode, and it also reads the errors very fast. I then write using my PHILIPS cdr800. This setup does work, and will also backup safedisc 2 great. If you want, you can email me, maybe we could do a trade or something if you cant figure it out.
