if you got the original game, install it, then replace the original .exe with the cracked one, you shoul then be able to play the game with it. if you got a CD write, just copy the CD, and when you want to play it use the crack

Hope this helps

what you can try is use clonecd and then also get clony v1.07 and then use the setting that clony gave you in clonecd! colin mcrae is protected by securom 2 i think, in clony it will say securom new and click on it. it will give you advice i think.

i don't think clony can find out if it is securom bu there way you can find out is buy installing with the new one and check the directory with clony.

you can also check daemon-tools.com and they will say which securom it is by finding certain files in you system directory!

hope that helps

Colin Mcrae Rally 2 works fine with clonecd.
Read at 1 speed(Tick read sub channel data and audio).
also write at 1 speed (the last to boxs ticked when writing).
The copy is working !
I use a TDK cyclone to make backups.

packer your correct, nice to see your learning :-D BOO what writer do you have, it will only copy if your writer can write sub channal data. If it can then don't play it in your cd-writer drive, it won't work, its part of the protection. Otherwise use a program like Deamon Tool. Better than using cracks. But if you must use cracks then copy all the files to a temp folder in your hard drive, then copy everything to a cdr and make the label for the cd the same as the game. Install it, then find where you installed it and replace the cmr2.exe with a fixed exe.

When I copied this game i just copied all the files to a tempory directory and added a cracked exe to the root.
Then burnt them using the correct label.

Then when the game has been installed I just copied the exe from the root to the program folder and it saved me about a lifetime of playing with clonecd!

Ive never used clonecd and never found a game I have not been able to copy.

If there is one could somebody let me know in case I come across it.
