How to copy anything...

Its all in the writer, so I recommend you go and buy a Plextor 121032S before going any further.

All you need is clone CD and when reading make sure you have the settings:
1x SPEED
Check Read Subchannel Data from both Data and Audio tracks.
Fast Error Skip on, but set the read retry to around 8 and error correction to none(click on the little hand).
uncheck Don't report bad sectors
uncheck Itelligent Bad Sector Scanner
Read the file like this. It might take a while at 1x speed, but do you want a copy that works or not??

When writing, use these settings:
1X SPEED
Write mode should be RAW-DAO. If you don't have this as an option in the list your writer aint up to it. You can Try RAW SAO+SUB but there are no guarantees with this. If you don't have that as an option then give up.
Check Dont' repair subchannel data - if this is greyed your writer is pants and the copy probably wont work.
Uncheck simulate
Check burnproof if you can, but this is not essential
uncheck wait untill buffers are full
check always close last session.
This will work cos it does for me, ive copied RA2 in 1:15mins for each cd & GunmanChronicles in 1hr. These both use SafeDisk2 which the hardest protection in games to beat at the moment and i did it no problem.
*BUT*YOU*MUST*HAVE*A*GOOD*WRITER* if you can't read raw subchannel data then your ####ed. If you can't write invalid sub channel data your also ####ed, and if you cant write RAW-DAO your ####ed again. Your writer has to be able to read errors and write errors to make an *exact* copy. If you have loads of options unavaliable or greyed out, your writer is pretty poor. With the Plextor 121032S the only greyed out option is simulate - and who the #### wants that anyway.
And don't be impressed by writers that burn at 12x or 16x speed cos its useless, you won't get an accurate copy. Its ok for audio or simple file backup, but for 1:1 copies you have to do it SLOW.

...and thats the bottom line, cos Stonecold says so!
