Serial # begins with U6... What version is that?

I have checked all the docs on the main-site but none included anything for serial #'s begining with U6... I bought the console this year. It was one of the units sold with GT3. It's model # is SCPH-35001. Anyone know what version my PS2 is? Will the instructions in the "Spoon-fed" backup doc work for this?

Thanks!
