The Sims Livin' Large Backup

I have Tried every possible release and crack to get this damn backup working. The Class Rip does not work (Confirmed by prior posts in this forum) at all. The Fairlight ISO Release is a working CD, However the Crack that comes with it is an Executible File that only opens up the Original Version of the Sims. I have tried having a friend send me all the files from the original CD and creating my own CD using them. Of course because the Game is protected with SafeDisc it asks for the CD even though the burnt CD is in place. I have tried many ICD Unwrapper's to create my own crack for the game (this works with the original Sims release but not the LL expansion) but have not been successful. I have tried Dameon's CD and Safedisc Emulator's and this does not work either. All the Cracks on the web do not work. Some simply don't launch, other's only launch the Original Sims game and Not the expansion. I cannot think of any other ways to attempt to get this to work. Anyone have any Idea's ? Anyone have a Sollution?

Thanx

Sounds like you covered most of your bases here.. but I didn't notice you mentioning that you used any burning app that can read/write in RAW mode. I struggled with this damn game for 4 days before I slapped myself for not having tried CloneCD earlier. It gave me a perfect 1:1 copy of the CD.. here's to you SafeDisk! :P Anyway, if you haven't given it a shot, go for it... hopefully your burner will support RAW mode and you'll tame the SafeDisk beast. Good Luck! TapeWurm

Livin large has been an amazing pain in the ass for me, but after trying several times i finally met success with clonecd. A nice slow image file all the options off (no fast error skip) and write in dao raw. after all the time and cd's wasted, it would have been better to get the original for a couple bucks. any way clone cd is king. Cheers!!
