here is what I did now

1. I re-downloaded from the post # archive.
2. Re-downloaded fix and replaced the files to source.

got an error while compiling saying setup\checksum.sfv does not exist

could you please share the checksum.sfv.

I got compiler error unknown identifier at line 2635 in compact mode

Reg Keys are insite the tool Registry.iss

Normally registry operations are made post-install. I guess this makes the most sense.

However it is possible to made them mid-install but you have to edit the script, especially the part where extraction takes place.

You are likely trying to compress something too large into setup.exe.
The game must be compressed using DSG, and you cannot place anything inside the Setup_DLL folder other than the decompressors needed to extract the .bin files.

I created the `setup.exe` after compression by following these steps:

1. after DSG compression > Tools > SetupDll > Unpack`.
2. I copied the `setup_dll` folder from the DSG folder and `records.ini` from the output folder, then pasted them into the ASIS `setup_dll` folder.
3. I copied `setup.dll` from the DSG conversion output and pasted it into ASIS.
4. Finally, I compiled everything using ASIS to generate the `setup.exe`.

However, when I placed only `data1a-01.bin` and the generated `setup.exe` in a new folder and tried to install the application, the installation failed with an error.

Interestingly, when I also placed `records.ini` and `setup.dll` in that same folder, the installation worked correctly.

My goal is to make the installer work with only `data1a-01.bin` and `setup.exe`, without requiring the separate `records.ini` and `setup.dll` files. because i already set them when i was making the setup.exe ( i might be wrong please correct me )

How can I resolve this issue?
