ANSWER: Is it your drive that's not compatible with CloneCD? More precise info please.

and how do i now what games are dvd that can't be copied.
ANSWER: DVD games have the word DVD plastered at around 7 o'clock.

thanks for any help

its is the drive that made all of mine ps1 games. what would be the difference. it a plextor 8\4\32. never had trouble with this burner and this drive.
it was nascar and red factor. i got the error.

gameday and madden went threw but ps2 wouldn't pick up that there was a disc in.

thanks.

Hi

if a PS2 game is a blue CD thats a normal CDR if its Silver and has DVD written on the front or bottom right corner then its a DVD game, the only 2 that spring to mind at the mo is GT3 and Rayman they are DVD games there are a few more out but cant remember which ones they are.

Hi,

can you get a backup of the game from another source ie a mate???
other backups boot fine???
are the games your trying to boot EA ones???

I know you have to patch games for the NEOKEY. there is something called the EAPATCHER which will patch the games for you providing you have a copy of CDR-Win or other and the right patch. check out www.eapatcher.com

Why did you get a NEOKEY over a NEO2.2 mod??? the NEOKEY seems to be a little pain in the AR*E

Good Luck

Dal

dal,
i didn't know what i was doing. i put my own chips in to. but i thought the neokey was easy and work great.
i don't have any problems. and they told me if i use the game shark it would work great. it plays the copied ps1 games.
i get a black screen saying playstion and that is it. not ea either.

thanks,

www.megagames.com

Has patches and tutorials. Also as Dal says, www.eapatcher.com is useful.

You'll need to use CDR-WIN for the staged operation to copy to hard disk - (patch with a patcher found at megagames) - burn to CD
