need help

Alright, im a newbie.

I'm having problems making a backup iso for system shock 2. I have an Acer 8x4x32 burner, and an lite-on 40x cd-rom. When i try to do it with clone-cd, i can't do the read sub-channel data thing, and it just sits there. I try to use cdrwin and it says there's a bad sector and will stop. Help!, im kinda getting the feeling that my hardware just isn't compatible. any suggestions would be awesome, thx

CD-Copy Instructions:

Download the System Shock 2 [ENGLISH] CD-Copy Crack from GCW.
Copy the CD on your HD.
Then patch the file "shock2.exe" in the directory "Shock" with System Shock 2 v1.0 Fixed EXE.
With Nero make a ISO-CD (ISO-Level 2) and copy the files from your HD on the CD. You must label the CD "systemshok2". It works with all languages and versions.
Play the Game!

Cheers
