Yes! You need clonecd. Just select fast error skip in the read options and that is it. And I used a 700 MB cd to be safe.

From what I've read you'll have to get a Philips or a Plextor burner to copy RA2. Safedisk 2 screws up the burn with most burners. I have a Plextor and was able to copy it with CloneCD but I'm not sure the disk can be read by another type of CD-Rom since I use my burner to read as well as write.
Apparently the game,or any game protected with Safedisk 2 ,when burned with a Philips or another burner that uses Philips hardware, can be read by any CD-Rom.

The reason the Philips can burn SD2 that work on cd and dvd rom drive is because some how SD2 overloads the buffer on the writer. Because of this the writer they f**ks up the copy. For some reason the Philips writers are not affected by this overload so they can make perfect copies. I don't really understand exaclty how it manages to do this. Also there something do with laser power. Again i don't really understand how this works. If you won't to read more about it go to cloneclinic and seach for a post by a guy called LocutusofBorg2k called 'the mechanism of safedisk 2' also search for a post by Olli 'the new protection'. They both talk about how it work. The LocutusofBorg2k guy is developing something for plextor and sony drives which should make them copy SD2 but he not saying much because he doesn't know if it's going to work.
Anyway go to clone clinic the stuff they say is kinda hard to understand.

I have a philips 3610
but is does not a good copy of ra2

my hp 4x4x32 does evenso my hp 8x4x32 and my plex 4220 (only writing)
It's not in the writing, it's in the reading
you don't have to read subchannels, but in the log you should get
errors from sector 815 til 10000. you do
need the don't repair subchanneldata with writing,
then you can make a copy of a copy of a copy and so on...
no problem, i have succesfully made copy's op ra2, delta force landwarrior and no on lives forever (i don't own more safedisk2 protected games) wich will run in EVERY cd-rom drive
