charlie look here

i have a neokey usb for my v1 ps2. i use verbatim datalife plus cdr's and i have a v1.4 gameshark . im 99% sure my neokey is installed correctly and yet all backups have failed to boot. rather they just freeze up at gameshark's loading please wait dialogue. i use easy cd creator 5.0 and burn from an image at 1x. what am i doing wrong and what is the problem? all help is appreciated thanx

I'd advise you on two main points:

1 Easy CD is useless!! Please use CloneCD (####://www.elby.de)

2 You are right to burn the Datalife Plus at 1x (could go to 2x). It has what is known as a "Long Write Strategy" and the slower speed aids that strategy.

Because some games are protected, CloneCD needs a fully compatible burner (listed in green text on the website).

Trash the easy cd creator. Using a usb mod means having to patch certain games so it's useless. Clone cd or cdrwin is the software to use.
