*ATTN*: cybercop (unusual clonecd problems)

I am using Sony CRX120E (firmware 1.0) using CloneCD ver. 2.8.3.1 (full)

Since you seem to know SO much about clonecd I thought you might somehow be able to tackle my problem.

I followed all your directions to make complete 1:1 copy of any game for two backups.

My first backup was of "Wheel of Time" which has safedisc prot. It burned fine, I tried to install program and it froze in the middle of game file install.

I did the same thing only with age of empires 2. Same thing happened, froze during installation at 18%.

After this I even tried making a burn at 1x speed (both read/write) but still same problem.

I checked website to see my compatability of CRX120E they say its fully compatible but reccommend firmware upgrade.

Also I have not yet tried burn with "Always close last session" checked. Will this help?

What is my problem? Is it safedisc? Is it my firmware? Do I need a certain type of media?

Plz reply thnx

This depends on the settings you used, reading and writing speeds dont matter.but settings and hardware are important, contrary to popular thinking, reading sub channel data and audio should NOT be checked for safedisk 1 protection.you can use your burner for reading and writing.

Well then why did he say that we can copy ANY game with those settings? Should I get a safedisc analyzer?
