Unreal Tournament CD

I am making a copy of the Unreal Tournament CD. I also am grabbing the latest update patch.

Does anyone know of any problems burning this CD? Then getting it to work on another machine?

I know some CD's burn easy, I have an HP 7500 CD WRITER and use adaptecs direct cd and have only had problems with a couple game CD's.

Does anyone know if I do burn the Unreal Tournament CD and put it under another machine if there will be any problem with MULTIPLAYER?

As an example I know if you burn red alert 2 and try to get on westwood online it can somehow detect theres another duplicate version on the network.

Can I expect any type of problem like this with burning and running the Unreal Tournament CD?

damnit, I copied it...

Installed it on the other machine and it keeps telling me to put in the CD. ANY IDEAS?

Alright, I am trying to use the darn NO CD patch with no luck. I have to be doing something wrong.

I cant even update to 436 because it asks for the CD. IS there something I need to do first? What file?
Little help would be greatly appreciated!

PS: Like I said I did this using adaptecs direct CD

Copy CD..
I've made a backup-copy of my Ut-Cd, with "Nero Burning ROM" - GET IT!!

Patch..
When I updated to 4.36 I had my copied cd in the player - OK
But since then I don't need to have the Cd in my Cd-player?
Without the NoCd-patch??

OK, I'll take a look and see if I can do anything about that. Thanks for your help, if anyone else has any ideas let me know.

Also, any problems working in multiplayer in unreal if its burned and someone else has the original CD?

use cd clone if your writer is compatible with unreal tour and u should get a perfect working copy i have done it so it should work but there again it might not try it and u will find out

CD CLONE will not work with my burner -- any other recommended software someone might have tried?

I have a "crack" cd of Unreal Tournament and ive never had any problems with the game ever....I guess if you "crack" it right then you sould be ok...oh and ive neve rhad it ask for the cd or say anything was wrong!!! So it works great!!! bye

Are you sure that CloneCd will not work with your HP7500?? Have you only tried version 2.8.3.1? I would suggest falling back 2 versions and you might have success...If the settings are right I know of several people who have 7500 series drives with a previous version of CloneCd and they can copy all Safedisc and Safedisc2 games.
If you just can't figure it out use BlindSuite, it is the second best software program out there (**Yes it is BOT-CK )
