how 2 copy safedisc 2 games with a sony crx140!!!!!
latest clone cd 2831 on win me p3450 192 megs of ram
i use the sony for reading and writing! read read speed max read subchannel from data check read subchannel from audio check fast error skip check read retries 0 error correction none dont report read errors no check intelligent bad sector check write write speed max write mode raw dao dont repair check simulate no check burn proof no support perform laser power no check wait until buffers are full check always close last session check sucess copying the usa version of b17 flying fortress with sony crx140e with firmware 1.0n cheers! Sorry Dude, this fix is a no-go. I have a CRX-140E (1.0p firmware), and this doesn't work any better than any other CCD copy (tried Hitman)... Besides, I think that B-17 doesn't use Safedisk 2. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

i copied hitman with the same settings and it works fine.
the only usa games i'm pretty sure that have safedisc 2 so far are alice, candc 2, and carmegeddon2000tdk. if i create an image with those settings and load the image with daemon tools, they work. every other game that i have copied, works perfect. updating your crx140 from firmware 1.0n to 1.0p might have screwed you..... good luck!

Nah, I bumped it back to 1.0n just to make sure it wasn't the firmware... Still a no go... What did you use for a reader? The Sony, or something else? I used the Sony and all I got was a neat place to set my beer!
