Interesting..it sounds like there was a hick-up during the recording process rather than a bad copy?? I would suggest using a Memorex 80 minute CD/RW. Then, ensure you are using all of the settings that I left in my main "instructions" post and try it again. I always recommend using a CD/RW until you have the process perfected..then transfer the file to a CD/R if you wish. My basis for this assumption is that if everything is successful the program will work, if it isn't it just won't work at all!! But having an illegal operation leans me towards the "something got messed up during the process", which can be a result of a glitch or the CD's. Good Luck because it can be backed-up.
