Red Alert 2 : If u burnt it with or without patches PLEASE reasond

OK I am getting pretty mad because every time I try to burn Red Alert 2 it never works. I don't know if it is my CD rom drives (Acer and a LG writer) or what. If u have burnt it perfectly or even with patches please respond. I burnt it with the patches from GameCopyWorld but when u go to install it, it says CD not there or something like that. So I manually have to go into the CD and install it from there and then put the patch in I would like to install it the real way can anyone hepl. If u have any idea please respond.

I just ICQ'd you with a response...but incase you read this first I just completed Red Alert 2 and tested it thoroughly in another computer...works like a champ!!! :P

I burnt ra2 with clonecd and it worked ( no patches ).

CloneCD (Plextor PX-W12432) will if i use it in (teac-540) dosen't work, but if i use it in the plextor it work.....?!

what the hell is going one.
can some one give me a real working crack to backup the game....pls.

i got the same problem as you because i live in Australia and our games have the same UK/PAL format as yours do. the cracks don't work and the burning programs don't work either, i'm stuck
will they ever bring out a UK/PAL patch.
PS clonecd doesn't work as it can't copy safedisc v.2

hi live burnt RA2 Aussie version no probs using the crack from GCW but you must read the inf file and follow it carefully just remember to uncheck the read only and check Archive before appling the crack and it will work also just remember to lable it the same as the original (RA2 sov RA2 allied) best of luck it does work fine .....

I burnt it using the allied and soviet patches and a key generator and put it all on 1 cd, follow the instructions exactly.
worked on my friends cpu..

only prob is that it wont work online :*(

Actually Methodman you can copy safedisc v2 with clonecd. I did it with Sacrifice and it worked fine. I was alble to install from the backup but could not play until I threw in the new .exe and it was all gravy after that.

Sorry Methodman, but this is wrong.
I burned RA2 (german version) with CloneCD 2.5.6.2
But you have to slow down the reading and writing speed to 1x or 2x.
Otherwise the copy won´t work.

The Allied And Soviet Patches Work...But You Might have to do the patches without using the .bat file...It didn't work on mine so I examined the .bat file and it was screwed...Just delete the setup file from the game and rename the allied_Setup and Soviet_Setup to Setup and replace it....Then Replace all the other files from the patches and copy...If you want a clearer way just email me!
