Diablo II was easy SafeDisc v2.0 sux!

Making a copy of D2 was easy, at least for me it was. It seems that most of the people forget that not only the software is important, but
the hardware is the most essential part! That's why some people can
make a perfect copy of D2 and even RA2. I succeeded in making a perfect 1:1 of D2 it even worked after updating to v1.03.

RA2 on the other hand is another problem... I just can't make a perfect copy, even with the settings mentioned above... so it could
be my hardware...

I have an AOpen cd-rom player and a HP9310i re-writer (firmware 1.0b). With RA2 I used the HP9310i as reader as well as writer, but the results were yet another coaster...
So if there is anyone who knows how to beat SafeDisc v2.0 please
let everyone know...

Greetz,
wisard

P.S. I found a brand new site which is collection info of combinations of cd-readers and cd-writers of making backups. You can submit your settings there so a whole database of making backups can exist...
