Booting backups with AR2 and latest Playstation 2

HI,

I have just bought a new Playstation 2 which i have had modchipped with the internal Nero 2 chip. I have also purchased Action Replay 2. My problem is that I am trying to play a back up version of Tekken Tag. I have gone through the action replay menus, and inserted game CD where stated, but when I press 'X' nothing happens (the pattern behind the text seems to stop). The strange thing is I did get the backup to work once, but I have tried again and again and now it doesn't seem to work. Is there a reason for this or was it just a fluke that it worked once. I have tried the EA method with holding reset, but my tray does not come out as it said it should. I have looked on the message board and seen people with the same problem and how they have started their PS2 up, but I have tried all these and none work. Maybe its my backup? but if so why did it work once and not again. Is it because I have a brand new model PS2? Please help! (sorry for the long message but I don't know what else to do!) Is there a foolproof method for playing backups using AR2 which I haven't tried! Thanks to anyone who can help.

I posted an instruction for booting with your system, this has been tested with over 120 games & the only ones that had any problems were EA games. Once thesse are patched they work fine also.
Hope this helps.
