What I have to do to play my dvd backups???

I have got a ps2 with a modchip (I do not know which one) and I use dvd region to play my cd backups. My cd backups work, but I do not know if I will be able to play my dvd backups in it. Help me please! Thanks.

Pls forgive me but that's like saying "I live in the world, which country could that be?"!!! So some info pls:

1 What PS2 do you have? PAL/NTSC-U/NTSC-J? How old is it?
2 Is it an internal modchip?
3 Have you tried the AR2/GS2 boot methods for DVDRs described in earlier posts by Dust2Dust?

It is unlikely that you will be able to boot DVDRs with DVDRX unless you have the latest OrigaChip.

sorry, charly! My ps2 is pal and it has only 1 week. I have not tried that methods yet. Are you able to tell me if there is any way to play this backups in it without changing my modchip? Moreover, I think that the modchip that you are talking about is forbidden here in my country (spain). My modchip is an internal one.

Without knowing the modchip you have to try it out - I can't tell you if it will work.

1 Search on the keywords "DUST2DUST BOOT"
2 Note the instructions for booting DVDRs with NEO2.2
3 Get AR2/1.7 or 1.9 (only) and a DVDR.
4 You will also need a PAL DVD original with large Table of Contents (Dead on Arrival or Devil May Cry)
5 Follow the instructions noted at step 2

If it works, fine. If not, change modchip to NEO2.2

hmm
but if his ps2 1 week old its likely to be version 5
then ar 1.7 or 1.9 wont work
he have to use ar v2.0 so they say it has no tray eject if u hold power so he cant double swap
anyone tried fmextreme on a v5 as it allows power hold eject when release onv4
lol i got v5 ps2 i (no chip yet)
i go try it
c if v5 will boot it
