Pease Please help me with Red Alert2 Setup crack

Can somebody please help me with the Red Alert 2 crack. When I Unzip the crack file to the game directory and execute the msdos bat file, I am told that a duplicate file exists. Eh????
I've tried to burn the CD after this, but SETUP still asks for the original CD (ergo the crack didn't work). I know that the game EXE works, but I want to make a fully working CD which I can use to install the game with as well (my cd drive scratches disks easily). Has anyone had any luck with the INSTALL CRACK?
I am begging for help please.

If you goto temp/cd/setup/setup_allied or soviet, you will then get into the setup screen. After putting in the serial number it should say that installation files were not found. Spent ages and made many coasters but cannot find a way round. Please let me know if you do at [email protected] as I might not be able
to get into this message coz of server problems.

GOD DAMMIT!!!

READ PAST POSTS!!

i have explained this 3 times already on THIS forum!!

the setup.exe file is read-only after copying from the CD, just goto the /setup directory and find setup.exe and make it archive or anything and uncheck READ-ONLY!!

The doesn't work because it can't access the file, it's that simple!

lo,
I first had your problem,
I changed the setup.exe, "unchecked" Read Only
Then used the batch file, and it told me to delete the bat, file, so i did
burnt the CD
and it is still asking me to insert the Original CD

Got it working,
basically as the guy b4 said, u must select "UNCHECK" read Only
and u MUST "CHECK" Archive,

Unlike myself the first time i didn't check anything
