hi, I was testing out arcgui and the compression is great.
JRD is it possible to implement the unpacker.bat file in the arcgui directory in a way that it would work with conversion designers? like do I need to replace the default arc.ini file in the conversion designers 'include' folder with the one from the arcgui folder? im trying to use Razor12911's installer creator but when I try to install my conversion it tells me the compression method zstd_x64 is an unsupported compression method. im new to this stuff so please don't be too upset with my newbish post.

Thanks, the option will be added but I think about the best solution, the best solution would be to make a freearc modification, I'm not an expert in Haskell or C ++, the other split systems do not really suit me because we lose A time for the split while on a compression algo that invokes external compressors (except for <stdin> <stdout>), otherwise I will set up a split system compatible with razor's UltraArc module, the split functions are Already in my units, it is soon if I have a few hours a week available otherwise it does not progress ...

You could use the subdivision of the command line data files with the internal FA option ( arc a...MyOptions -w.\ Out\Test.bin -m..MyMethod -dp"C:\MyFolder" "@File1.txt" ), scanning files according to the preset size does not take time, rather it is immediate, reading a few seconds before the archive is created, the name path of the file is written to a text file, after reading and creating the archive can be deleted, this in a continuous cycle based on the created parts.
Personally, I think it's still the best way to split large data.

Please change the size of the split, it is currently at 6 MB (for test), the supported values are that of 7z,: b, k, m, g (default bytes)

Isdone.dll sometimes returns an error code-12 from Unarc, this and bind to the fact that some compressors are not supported by Unarc.dll
