Project Cars 2 uses oodle, fifa 18 uses oodle, so maybe in that way he knows that future games will be oodle compressed
or something else?

Frostbite 2 engine uses zlib, not lz4, that's why you got better ratio by pzlib. Frostbite 3 uses lz4/zstd/oodle and maye more compressors. So when you got a game using FB2 engine, use pzlib.

Well I could make it fast but high ram usage and slowness is in oodle's nature, sometimes. You can't help it.
