Rainbow squares!!!

Has anyone noticed that when they burn a cd it sometimes has spots where the cd isnt burnt. this is from dust which is stuck on the cd, blocking the laser from getting to the cd. this causes data loss and when you play the game and it hits a movie file where the dust was, it has heaps of ugly rainbow squares everywhere.

does anyone else experience this problem?
its a real pain in the ass, and when i try to whipe the dust off a blank cd i just get lots more on it, what can i do to stop this!!!
