does cd speed matter?

Does anyone know what is the best CD writing speed to burn PSX isos. Some people say 1x is the best, others say 2x is better.

Can sumone tell me which speed is the best.

1x speed is the best because its the safest speed to burn at, but u can also burn at 2x

also depends what media u are using if ur using unbranded cdr then yes 1x but if ur using branded cdr then they can normally be used at 2x+ but u will have 2 see what works best with ur cd-r
