Has anyone ever got this progam to actually work??

I Tried the program on Syphon filter and Monsters Inc (Both NTSC). And also download PAL4U patches created by others

The games still play in black and white even after patching, downloaded the PAL/NTSC selector for Syphon filter and it worked a treat......

Are there certain settings that need to be used when creating a PAL4U patch????

I know I can use import player or buy a scart lead but thats not the point I would like to know if the program actually works...

yes it does work but i used two patches, 1st syphon_filter_3_us_n2p.zip, 2nd prm-sf3.zip i presume that you've used the 1st one which is a pal4u, u need the 2nd one aswell.
