What about a preprocessor section in which we can assign specific preprocessor other then which can be used with freearc to the specific files not always dependent on masks
something like ogg comes with UltraARC but user define and not masks dependent but we can make our own list
for Example GTA V, it has all major files with extension .rpf but only some of them can be process with something like reflate and other are incompressible multimedia containers.
and also if the program is single threaded if arcGUI can feature multi TASK

and one more thing let the arcGUI to search in %PATH% for arc.exe

I was thinking about how to set up such a thing, I wanted to extend the possibilities of the filter tab, to create a "masked group" and "masked filter" in order to simplify the creation of custom methodes depending on the type of data.

When you say "multi TASK", you mean several execution simultaneously?

and one more thing let the arcGUI to search in %PATH% for arc.exe

tried now .. the more good big project in this field that I know .. the good that is in Delphi and also very well planned

Thanks Rinaldo, I put the decompression side part for now, I integrated a part "Inno Setup Script Editor" in order to decompressed blocks of data compressed with ArcGUI, a mode of advanced compression where all extensions will be moved into folders for this, any content can be scanned and so is based on the content of the files arcgroups to predict the best method among the present based on extensions and thus accelerated the compression, a module for inno setup is required if you used the mode advanced, it detects the compressors not present as well as the present, is arcgroups indicates the methods using these, when adding external compressor it detected what origin and offers sheets with Visual objects to adjusted easily compressor settings, for now is managed "7-zip, Srep, precomp", in the section, a password strength indicator, memorization of the position of the columns of the listview, and a lot of other things, with the arrival of Freearc Next I hope that will change any of the current engine... Later and thanks for the support.

Freearc next is gonna be a commercial product, better to go with Zarc, plus it is written in delphi and seems to have better external compression support, once completed

This version is expired, the part filters no longer says "filter" are the algorithm of freearc managed internally, the entire system been revised for safety and reliability.
The system detection of errors with the external compressor et les méthodes is 100% functional, the level of errors based on the external compressor or groups of extentions,
I'll soon shared a beta version, the advanced compression system will not present, but you through the evolution of the project, thanks for the feed.

No help, no multithreading, no multilanguage, I will implement these soon, I've had some hard shots lately, thanks to all.
