u need a gameshark.. look for codes on the internet and it should work. or u can patch it... i rented nba shooout 2002 and it was protected. ive been trying to figure out how to patch but cant... gameshark shoould work

I did find some codes but I have no idea how to use them. Is a gameshark a piece of hardware you can buy? I am sorry about being so stupid about this. If it was up to me I would just take the game back to the store but my daughter has been whinnig all day she wants to play this game. The game is spyro year of the dragon.
