Right mate, new folder on your desktop, image the game with cdrwin into your folder, extract all the files into the folder, then double click the VR2CRACK

I have saved the image file for VRally2 in a folder and extracted all files for the crack but when I run it a dos window pops up and quickly disappears. Am I supposed to get a confirmation message at all? Without any confirmation message I'm not sure whether it worked so I'm not game to try and burn it as I don't want a coaster. Can you offer any help on the above problem? Thanks

The reason the window closes so fast is that it is opening a DOS box, running the crack which doesn't run properly and finishes, Windows then closes the box. The crack is an older one, so if you open a DOS manually. For example if the image file is called image.bin and is in my c:\temp directory.
Change to the drive with the crack on ( letter then : enter, ie c: enter). Then change to the patch directory, using cd\ (ie cd\temp enter). (I was not sure if people could get around DOS anymore!) When in the directory type: vr2crack vrally2.sin c:\temp\image.bin You have to type the full path to the image file. It should do this pretty quickly, then just close the DOS box and burn the image. I did have a duff copy of the crack that gave an error when doing the above, make sure you get the one off megagames.com L8ers, Jobb! |
