copying ps2 dvd games

i have just got a ps2 and i was wondering how to copy the dvd games onto cd i have copied the ps2 cd games ok using clonecd but i am not sure how to get a full dvd game onto cds any help would be appreciated

This is a very big subject indeed. It requires that you download a raft of tools, various tutorials with the aim of doing the following:

Converting formats to those you can manipulate
Identifying and removing movies/clips you don't need
Identifying and removing music you don't need
Downsampling movies you do need when it becomes a squeeze
Identifying and removing DVD checks put in to stop you doing this

... only then to discover that the movies you removed contained data relevant to completing a game; that you are over 650MB and in a nether region of will it won't it work.

Nearly all those who have tried this (and succeeded) gave up and bought a DVD writer!

That said, there are web pages containing tutorials and kits.

Please search this forum under the keywords "DVD Rip) and all that stuff is pointed to, discussed and, as I said to someone else, done to death!
