do i need a patch for fifa2001

I am very new to this but i would like to copy fifa 2001 for the playstation1. I have created an image on my pc but now i am stuck!! I have looked everywhere for a patch for it but i cannot find one anywhere! Does anyone have it or do i even need it to copy the game??

I know for the US NTSC version, you do not need any patch. As for PAL I do not know.
