Plz Help a newbie

I bought an USA version of Parasite Eve II, and i tried the patches to make a backup, but i can't seem to find the right one. I even try the static patch, but it says that the patch is not for my version of the game and the file size doesn't match. can ne one plz help me.

Go down to Blockbusters. Rent the UK one and patch it.

I suppose it would never have dawned on you that the US version is not protected?
