Freezing backups-sorry about this-

I am trying to copy an action man game (original disc works fine )i also have a backup copy of micromachines V3 that someone did for me ages ago.
Both work (so i know mod chip is ok)
Brand new cd writer (LG GCE-8160b)
seem to copy either disc fine (using nero)
cannot use Clone cd as itdownloads fine but errors on installing.
on playing backup copy freezes at playstation logo .seems to do it for all the copiies i have tried .checked on a site list and they are all unprotected. any help greatly appreciated

you might have a weak burner. or your burning too fast or the cd media you use is crap.

Try using CDRwin.
Make sure your burner is compatible and don't burn at a speed faster that your media will accept. If your media says 12x and you burn at 16x, you will get that freezing. After you check your hardware, burn at 1x and see if that will work.
