Muppet Monster Adventure and one unhappy child
Anyone know of any problems doing this game. I have tried to back it up for my daughter in the usual way and it won't run. i cannot even read the disk in my PC. any one have any ideas.

I have been having the same problem with a rental,Try reducing the copy speed and replacing the unread data instead of aborting (cdrwin)
Patch the cd and burn with the same slow speed. Hope it does the trick, it worked ok for me. |

i copied it useing cdr win no probs is the original dirty, what discs do you use
also some of the 1 series psxs dont seem to like some of the newer games hope this helps |

When are people going to learn?
If you cannot read the cd then you will never make a good backup of it. PSX cds do NOT have any errors unless the cds are damaged. |

If it is given that this disc is indeed scratched/dirty, then all still might not be lost!
Try using isopropyl alcohol (record cleaner/tape head cleaner/clearasil blue liquid) to clean it - spray or drop a few drops onto the disc surface and wipe radially (ie. from the centre outwards NOT round and round) using a clean, soft cloth. When it is as clean as you can get it, try again. I have managed to copy seemingly knackered discs from dubious sources with absolutely no errors!! |
