Hi Kev1n,
I have a ps2 30003 v4, with a neo 2.2 fitted I backed up crazy taxi PAL using cdrwin the game plays fine. I am not sure a bout the usb mod you are using this could be a possible culprit "not sure". But my guess is you laser needs slight adjustment to play all your PS2 backups. I suggest 600 ohms or slightly over should be fine. N.B do not adjust you dvd Pot just the laser. hope you find this helpfull Good luck and a merry xmas
