(1) Can anyone tell me which is the best mem card.
ANSWER: It's still the 8MB Sony card - that's just my opinion and others will disgaree. The reason is that it is not universally good for booting backups, esp. DVDRs. (2) Can I boot ps2 backups using a 16 mb mem card and my neo 2.2 mod ANSWER: Yes in most cases. (3) where can i purchase the card from. ANSWER: Anywhere that stocks PS2. I have a scph 30003 v4, neo 2.2 Thank in advance Adders[/quote] |

Hi Charlie
Thanks for the advice Just to clarify what you said. You recommend an 8 meg card. Will this card boot ps2 backups without my action replay cart. If the answer is yes how do I do this. Thanks Adders |

As you know, in conjunction with Neo2.2, you use AR2 or MM+ or DVD Region X as the boot disk to load a backup behind it. For AR2 you will need the card that comes with it. I use DVD Regin X as my boot mechanism. You would need AR2 to boot DVDRs.
We've got MM 16 but don't use it. You end up being dependent on it just when it won't boot a specific DVD-R game. That's why the good old Sony 8MB jobs are best. |
