having probs with my new LG CED-8080B

im having problems with my new CD burner it seems that no matter how i try to copy psx games they all turn out as being read as music tracks by my psx and i am wondering if it is the burner cause i have been using cdrs that i have used on other burners to make copies and it worked fine then. and if it is the burner is there any way that i can alter it to burn psx games properly?
thanx

Well it sounds like you know what you are doing as far as making backups is concerned!

I would recommend you try TDK media as i have known many people with LG burners that have had many problems with other media and TDK seem to give the best results.

Hi,

What writer software are you using???

I have one of these writers in my computer at the office, its compatible with CLONE CD and CDR-Win. I have made plenty of PS2 backups using this writer so maybe you might have a faulty one???

Also with regards to media i only use Verbatim CDR-S in the LG writer and my HP Writer at home, had great results.

But like Spooky says, TDK are also a good brand.

Can you take the writer back and get another one???

Cheers

Dal
