S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Trilogy 2xDVD5 *CIU 2.0.2*

Based on: CIU 2.0.2 by yener90
Compression method by: peterf1999 and Fabioddq
Art: found online and ingame
Icon: myself
Music: Couple of songs from the Call of Pripyat OST by Alexey Omelchuk
Tested on: Win7 Home Premium 64bit and Win7 Ultimate 32bit
Final size (English language only and without multiplayer):
DVD1=3.09 GB's
DVD2=3.96 GB's

NOTE
This conversion was based on GOG versions, it's probably compatible with Steam and retail versions, but please check file lists before doing the conversion. Installer doesn't support redists, so you can put them all wherever you want. Also, I've tested only with one language, English in my case, and without multiplayer maps so some differences in size may occur. Bear in mind, that the conversion will include all language and multiplayer files. Mods will probably fit in the conversion without affecting the size too much. After the installation, right click on the desktop shortcut of CS and CoP and delete \bin from Start in field to avoid error not related to the conversion.

1. Install the games and extract attachment somewhere on your computer, NOT in the game installation directory
2. Make one folder on your computer, name it whatever you like, create 3 folders in it and name them: SoC for Shadow of Chernobyl, CS for Clear Sky and CoP for Call of Pripyat. Now move files from your installation directories to the appropriate newly created folders.
3. Delete all unwanted language files from game folders (you can also delete mp folder if you don't want multiplayer)
4. Go to the My Documents and compress with FreeArc following folders: Stalker-COP, Stalker-SHOC and Stalker-STCS to the Data5.cab and move it to DVD2
5. Start Compress.bat, enter the path of your folder containing all three games, wait for it to compile
6. Make ISO files or put all Data cabs in the first folder and test before burning

CHANGES:
1.1
- added components, now you can install individual games instead of the whole package, fixed setup.ini. No need to do conversion again, just replace Setup.exe

Actually, those 3 folders are created by the original installer as I've taken that from GOG installer script. Yes, save games are created there but the installation install user.ltx file or something like that. So, basically, I would include these folders in the conversion. Also, you'll need to create separate setup.ini if you decide to go without those folders since you'll have only 4 cabs instead of 5. Hope this answers your question

NamelessOne had stated in his original preview post that the conversion was solely based on his purchase of the trilogy from GOG. ( he's since deleted that post as the conversion has been posted. )

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I've made this based on GOG versions, but I do believe that it will work on retail or Steam version as well. Maybe some minor adjustments to the file lists and voila I've tossed my disc versions as soon as I've bought these on GOG, since wifey has a problem with my DVD collection
