Anyone tried the new FF9 patch yet?

I've wasted enough discs on this game. So I would like to confirm that this patch actually works before wasting anymore.

I'm trying to play a copy of my US FFIX on my psx which is mod'ed, and it hasn't worked...is there a copy protection on the us ver, and if so...if there a patch for it?

the game stops right after the psx logo just like in ff8. it should probably stop when you get to each new disk.

Is this a new cracking group? Maybe they will tackle spyro 3 next, and totally stick it up Paradox.

I still havn't had any luck with FFIX at all yet..

I got a UK/PAL version.. My burner is 100% CloneCD compat.. I burn the CD using Settings for Lybcrypt (Which is what this version has for Copy Protection) but the CD just spins after the PSX logo.

A further attempt using a CDRWIN image and patching failed as well.. I cant even get the CD to recognise as a valid CD after applying the patch to the Image (Doesnt come up with any errors when I apply the patch either.)

The CD just comes up with an empty TOC.

Dogey if you ask me, They did well with this game thats for sure.

Hmmm, it worked for my with CloneCD...
And the game is really cool

the patch on megagames.com worked fine with me, Uk Pal version that is! I couldnt back it up with clone cd so i waited for the patch and used Cdr-win! worked a treat
