messiah ----- aka ------ bootmaster ????

I've read in a ps2 forum that the messiah chip will come.
but it should come along with another name -> "bootmaster"

does anybody know if this rumor is right ????

After the messiah project is dead, a not of messiah like mod chip pops up (e.g. Elvis, X-Chip, Phoenix, Bootmaster...) and all have the same spec as messiah.

For me, I don't care if they are messiah or not, as long as they work the way they claim, then it is fine with me. However, I would not buy them util I see anyone really received those chips and gave a review of them.

I know some of the people sent their money to CT and still not receive the chip. Some even sent their PS2 to CT and now got stuck.

So wait... or get a cheap mod for now. I just ordered a Origachip instead of waitting for the messhia since who know it will really be out.

Good luck =)

Cool... let me know what is ur test result.

From what I know, messiah a like mod chip only work with Pal PS2 right now. Hope it will support NTSC machine soon.

Origa 1.25 for JAP machine is out a few days ago and it boots DVDr, that is a good news for JAP PS2 users.

Whoaah!! JAP PS2 and Messiah?? When Dust2Dust and I get our shipment and with his permission, I'll try to get one worked onto a JAP PS2 but don't hold your breath. It's PAL PS2s of which I'm confident.

Jumpstart, did you order Origa from Lik-Sang? Just 'phone them and ask if there is a reason for delay. I know Origa are treading carefully but ...

i'm still looking for budget wise Burner...
But i'm really eyeing for Pioneer A03...
I'm having a hard time since our customs usually charge a fee when you're order exceeded $500.00

Jumpstart, ####://www.scan.co.uk for Pioneer A03. £379 before sales tax = $535. Watch them on a daily basis and when the price falls on one of their special offers below £350, you'll be within $500!!

Don't they sell it in the shops where you are?
