Custom 3D engine. Please help
Hi there! been a while and a lot seems to have happens here since
. Anyway, i would like to develop my own 3d engine. For the math and all, i am pretty much at ease but what i would like to do is my own 3d lib. D3D doesn't attract for obvious reasons and opengl is hemorrhaging like an anemic on Aspirins (seems, after some research that it is a nvidia drivers issues). So please, i dont need all the answers but just where to begin and what to expect. I used to do my own engine while back in DOS era with direct memory access, ports and some interupt. I work mainly in C++ with GCC (mingw). Thanks in advance. |
