Need help with protected ps1 game!!

I have a moded playstation and I just got cool boarders 2001 and a screen will come up saying my ps was modified. How do i get around this? Thanks for any help.

If i remember correctly from a buddie of mine with a ps1 when he backs up psx games protected (or not) for his ps1,he has to apply the protection patch (with cdrwin and ppf patcher) but also has to apply a ps1 patch to make it work.

Yeah... use CDRWin to create an image file (read disc tracs sectors) leave all the settings as default and make sure that the RAW box is #####ed.

Download the protection fix patch from www.megagames.com along with the PPF-O-Matic patch engine.

Apply the patch to your image.

After successfully applying the patch then burn your backup again leaving ALL settings as default this time including the RAW box.

You may wish to keep your read and write speeds low at first until you get the hang of things.
