dvd ps2 disc backed up with the pioneer dvd rw

you can buy pioneer dvd-rw 2x8x for 649.99 and tdk 4.9gb dvd-r for 14.99 at pcworld so it maybe possible backup ps2 dvds at sensible price with the right utilities.
has anybody heard if this is possible or is it wishful thinking alabama

Search the forum on DVD Rip or DVD Copy. You'll see a wealth of info. The consensus at this time is that there is no DVD software equivalent of CLONECD. I did read somewhere that the write-at-once DVD writers can produce a successful backup. This is discussed on another forum but I forget which.

As charlie said, there is no software that supports copying PS2 dvd games at this time.
