After the messiah project is dead, a not of messiah like mod chip pops up (e.g. Elvis, X-Chip, Phoenix, Bootmaster...) and all have the same spec as messiah.
For me, I don't care if they are messiah or not, as long as they work the way they claim, then it is fine with me. However, I would not buy them util I see anyone really received those chips and gave a review of them. I know some of the people sent their money to CT and still not receive the chip. Some even sent their PS2 to CT and now got stuck. So wait... or get a cheap mod for now. I just ordered a Origachip instead of waitting for the messhia since who know it will really be out. Good luck =)
