Copying PSX With CDR-Win

I am having great problems using CDR-Win and my Samsung Combo SM-304B. I have tried to copy both Sim###ns Wrestling and Gran Turismo 2 (I have a PAL Playstation) using them and Sony CD-Rs. There seems to be no problems while reading and burning. But when I come to put the burnt CDs in the playstation, hardly anything occurs. With Gran Turismo 2, the white sony logo just came up when i turned it on, and just went to the Memory Card/Music CD screen, however, by the sound of the CD-R in the playstation, I could hear that it had not stopped reading it.
With sim###ns wrestling, the sony screen came up, then went to the other playstation logo with the black background so I thought it was working, but then it just went to a blank screen but again i could hear that it was still trying to read the CD-R. What am I doing wrong?

Possibly a bad code entered. Did you get the serial of the net or from a reliable scorce?

make sure you have everything set up to copy in RAW mode with no correction of error's, Playstation disk are suppose to have error's so if CDr-win is correcting them then your making good coasters so throw a dinner party.

BOT is on a distinguished road
Maybe you have been unlucky enough to have obtained one of those burners that just cannot copy a PSX game at all.
Your burner is far from being compatible enough with CloneCD to copy PSX, probably the same will hold true with any software you might be tempted to try.

One of the first problems I ran into when first burning was I was burning games too fast, I would get bad game copies or copies that would boot up occassionally, I had to go to burning at 1x or 2x then everything as fine. I'm mentioning this just as a reminder as I think the demo version of CDrwin only burns at 1x.

I would say make sure you watch the settings on the read and then burn, read sub-channel data and make sure it burns without correcting the files. Some games just can't be copied, you might need to find a game patch that you would have to replace a certain file in that game to make it work but again being your at this forum you probably already #####ed it out.

Not knowing what settings your using it's hard to direct you to the proper set up for CDrwin, that and the fact I usually use Clone, I only use CDrwin when the game needs to be patched such as Bio-Hazard Gun Survivor I need to use my guncon and I can't handle the US release, shooting with a controller sucks big time!!

Kilbrain, changing your writer can really solve your problem. I had a LG writer with which I was unable to make bootable copies. I got fed up and exchanged it for a USB HP writer. With this new burner, I have so far been able to make two excellent copies.

Give it a try if you can.

Kilbrain my advice is to get a Ricoh drive and then get a copy of Clone CD, I have a Ricoh MP7080A And use Clone CD and as yet they have not failed me, they only thing that fails occasionaly is a bad blank CD. Ricoh has just announced a 20x write 10x re-write 40x play drive and it sounds like it will be well within your price range. GOOD LUCK

there is no need to answer somebodys reply in the way i which you have.

If i really thought you were that STUPID then i would have said so.

If i also wanted to patronize you then i would have tried abit more with my first post.

Just to let you know i hope you never fix this problem as you obviously have a attitude problem towards people like my self you go out of there way to help the needy.
