PS2 whit AR2 and chip, AR2 broken ????

i have my chip now for one week, and it works fine .... for psx 1 games!!! i use te AR2 to load ps2 backups, and it works fine to ... except for the AR2 cartridge!!! since yesterday the damn thing says it can't detect the AR2 hardware, and that i have to insert it into the memory slot, but it's allready in there!!! i tried it on an other playstation, and it didn't workt either. then, i tried it with another AR2 cartridge in a playstation in the store (where i tested my AR2) and even that one dind'y work!!! wtf is wrong with the simple method of plug and play damnit!!! is there anyone using an AR2 who had seen the message "hardware cannot be detected" ??? and that nows an answer ??

I had the same problem. Put a little bit more pressure on the AR2 catridge when putting it into the slot. Also make sure the connections are clean. This worked for me.

happened the same thing to my brother...it seems the AR dongle is kinda weak...he used it once and then after removing it the 1st time (with some difficulty), the damn thing stopped working.
He had to get a new one...
