patches & scratched cds

i cant find patches for all my games, does that mean i dont need a patch, or is there somewhere else i can find a patch. i am getting my patches from mega games right now is there another site i can get patches from ?????? and i scratched my crash team racing game is there away i can still make a back up copy? from united states.

if u are using megagames.com and they dont have a patch, this either means that the game doesnt require a patch or its a new game & a patch isnt available yet.
Regarding a scratched disk, once a disk is scratched its usually scrap. However, there are products on the market that can help to restore scratched cds. These include 'CD-Fender' which is a thin plasic cover that sticks to the disk & fills in deep scratches so that they can be read. I've also seen a device that literally 'sands' the disk to get rid of scraches. I would NOT recommend these & i think they are a waste of money. If the games is original then ring up the distributor (can be found in instructions booklet) and they can send u a new game if u send them the old scratched one and usually a small fee (around £5)- i have done this 3 times and no receipt is need, just me very polite over the phone!
