Dark 1xDVD5 CIU 1.0.1.4 Conversion

Update 1

Added a fixed bat that fix the problem with the language to compress (Use this one)

Instructions

1- Install the game

2- Download attached file and decompress (not in game folder)

3- From your game folder move _CommonRedist folder to DARK folder of the conversion

4- Launch compress.bat and wait 'til finish (40 min. aprox)

5- Test conversion, burn or make iso.

I upload in another rar the srep. (Sorry people I forgot to add it earlier)

For this game I will not add other languages than the ones already in it. As you can see there's no support for my language either. (I speak spanish)

I upload the srep.exe just copy where there compress.bat and the other files of the conversion are.

so is this compatible with update 1 after all? The update is quite big so I suspect there might be a lot of bugfixes included.

yes is compatible, you just has to install it after you install the game and that's all

just an FYI, creating archives worked fine, except returned an error on creating the other language cabs. it finished creating english.cab, but gave an error on creating german.cab file not found error, do you wish to retry. i just input no & it ended.

as for updating game, after installing update 1, Data.darkpack drops from 2.67GB from original install to 2.65GB after installing update 1. The file list doesnt change at all after update 1. The initial test i ran after update 1 it created archives fine, & total DVD size was 2.21GB with Data1.cab, Data2.cab & english.cab.

Can I only have english and remove all the other languages?

the game ONLY installs files in the language you choose in initial setup of original game.

to stop the error when running the compress.bat I deleted the other language choices from the bat file itself. It ends properly after that.

yes delete from compress.bat the languages that you dont want.

Waht I did to have all the localization files was install and uninstall 4 times the game, one for each language if anyone wants I can upload to an external site all the localization files and going to edit the compress.bat
