the reason for this may be because the cd is scatched or the fact
they may be dvd ps2 disks, which should load in a dvdrom drive

Playstation 1 or 2 to pc

I would like to copy the playstation 2 games for my pc since I can't buy them yet.

Do I need a program to be able to play them or copy them.

There it no program that supports this.

The reason for some games not being recognised is that they are DVD games and contain VOB files which cant be read by a CDRom or CDRW drive!

Also as warlock has mentioned there is no software/emulater that supports PS2 games.
