No problem - i'll keep the update 2 on disk 2 !!!

Ok test again with Update 1 only ...
Same Problem Disk1: 4.43GB (65MB overload)
Disk2: 3.57GB

What i'am doing Wrong ??

step #3 missed doing this correctly ?

Go to your game directory and move/delete four audio languages that you don't need from these folders:

nativePC\sound\ev\se
nativePC\sound\se\demo\source
nativePC\sound\se\radio\source

I have already done this (two times) i kept only English ...

Make the conversion without updates. And put all updates on DVD2. Will work.

I think, doesn't fit too with update 1. Sorry...

it does fit with update 1. but make sure to delete the extra lang files, as noted in post #1.

DVD1 = 4.34GB
DVD2 = 3.32GB

biggest difference is the number of files...

you have VS mine:

Files: 1296 VS 1234 > you still have 62 more files somewhere, in the archive I dont have.

Total bytes: 9.840.072.284 VS 9,713,786,245

you have in gamefolder 4 folders & 3 files in the root of the game?
You shouldnt have any uninstall files in the game folder, move them to temp folder while compressing the game conversion. Then move them back afterwards to uninstall from.

... Yes i have 4 folders & 3 files (now that i moved uninstall files) but i cannot find anything else to move ...any clue ( i want English only) ??

To make fit with update 2 just add this on Data2.lst

There is also a bunch of other lang files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Resident Evil 6\nativePC\arc\DX9

Collection_vfre.arc ( fre, ger, ita, spa, pol, rus etc ), Custom_vfre.arc, etc look through whole directory & you see alot more.

580 files to be exact that arent needed for english only. ( 64 more files added after Update 2 ) Total = 644 files Update 1 + 2

Using original compress.bat ( deleted other lines for data2.cab, data3.cab ( testing now, compressing 1132 files VS 1234 )
will post result from data1.cab

Data1.cab with those 580 language files still intact = 4.25GB, removing those files & re-running the bat file Data1.cab now = 4.10GB.

FINAL EDIT:

With the changes I've noted above, with the changes by andersonj ( thanks for that ALL fits on 2xdvd5 WITH updates 1+2.
DVD1 = 4.20GB
DVD2 = 3.35GB

The conversion now finished with proper sized DVD's

Disk 1: 4.28gb
Disk 2: 3.53gb

I've installed both Updates (1&2).

Delete - Except the Sound filed (as Fabio noted in the convesion info) - About 620 other language files
in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Resident Evil 6\nativePC\arc\DX9" directory as pakrat noted
...& i've used andesondj's addition for Data2.lst

The Game Installed & Worked Fine.!

Anyone tryed to uninstall the game?
I always test that too, and with this one it gives me this error.

Tested in WinXP SP3 at work. Will test it in W7 at home.
